Fine Artist 

Bio 

 Clare is a painter and art teacher, born in Isleworth and educated in Twickenham where she still lives. She trained in Germany and the UK studying Fine Art at Leeds University 1977-1981. Clare is a member of the National Society of Painters and Richmond and Twickenham art societies. She has worked for ten years in adult education in Hounslow and Ealing. The desire and need for creative expression has been with Clare all her life. Her subjects are at present the male nude, and reflections at Wraysbury reservoir and brackish inlets on the Isle of Wight. She has previously painted cows on ridges, fish and flowers. Clare works mainly with water based mediums. She likes painting quickly capturing shifting light, contrast and dynamic movement.
